Business development directors build relationships and provide strategic direction to help companies grow and profit. Focusing on building and guiding relationships both internally and externally. While business development directors tend to work within a company’s business development department, also build cross-functional teams and lead strategic development across the company.

Main responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing effective direct and Indirect sales strategies and operational plans and leading the sales team. 
  • Driving the business planning process, including sales management and budget control.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage business development teams to drive the company’ achievement.
  • Possessing a deep knowledge of the market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies and proactively developing and modifying strategies and tactics accordingly.
  • Forecasting and planning in an effective manner by developing, and maintaining long- and short-range sales plans.
  • Ensuring effective account management by both Direct and Indirect channels in their assigned territory on a quarterly basis, with specific action plans depending on customer type.
  • In-depth understanding of Technology products, Software, Digital agency, and sales methodology.
  • Use the sales performance analysis to further inform the strategic direction of the Company, establishing actionable insights which ensure the constant improvement and development of business opportunities and revenue.
  • Scrutinize the sales staff performance weekly and monthly.
  • Prepare and analyze sales data for review and Offering sales reports to improve team performance.


  • Thai nationality, male or female.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or any related field, MBA is a plus.
  • 5 years’ experience as Head of Business Development / Business Development Manager or Director/  from Digital Agency/Online Platform, Software Solution Business is a must.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written Thai and English.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing revenue through development and expansion of current business in achieving and exceeding annual quota and business objectives.
